Dental discounts, Best dental discount plan.

I live in a state where dental discount plans seem to be popular. After all I already found five dental discount plans. I really do not care if it is a dental discount plan I get or insurance as long as it is low cost and will save me money of my dental services.
But how do I know which dental discount plan is the best? Is there one dental discount plan that stands out more the others? What is the best dental discount plan to get?

I have the Careington dental plan 500. I do not know if it is the best dental discount plan available but I do know that for the past two years it has really helped me save money.
I first needed it because I had to have a root canal and a crown done and I could not find insurance that did not have a waiting period. I got Careington had my dental work done two days after getting the plan and I saved $500.00 from what I was original being quoted without anything. I think that is not bad for a $10.00 plan.
I kept the plan since I want to have something for my preventive care. If you do not get dental insurance offer to you though your job and you want a low cost plan then I think getting a discount plan may be the way to go. Just make sure you have a dentist in the plan you want to go to.

For the most part dental discount plans work the same you get the reduce discounted saving as shown on the plan, at the dental office at the time the dental service is render.
Comparing dental discount plan to each other comes down to the listed fee schedule and the dental office that take the plan. As for my advise if you are going to buy a dental discount plan do it from a license insurance agent or agency.
You will be able to tell this from most web site because they will list their license number for the state they are in. Even though you do not have to be a license insurance agent to sell a dental discount plan I would rather get one from some one that can offer me both choices.

I like a discount plan that has a large list of schedule services. That way I have a clear idea of cost for most of my dental needs. Now I live in NY so not sure where you are at but I must have looked at around six dental discount plans before choosing Q-direct plus.
I just like the fact that it had a more detail schedule. However do call the dentist and make sure they are still taking the plan I had three dentist tell me they are not accepting it any more until I found the one I am using now.
